Games. Reviews. Previews. Tons of gaming sites out there that cover games and the industry. We felt none were true to gaming. With complicated ratings on games, we’ve chosen to bring things back to basics. Rating games on a fundamental star rating system.
We know at times these ratings can cause an abundance of games rated low, average or great. This is exactly the way we view games and the same way YOU recommend them. We don’t see them as scores such as 88, 97 or 63. Who the hell can tell the difference between the score of 85 and 88 for that matter? Not me, not you and who cares?
What you do care is if the game is one that you’ll enjoy. And worth your hard earned cash. Whether it’s for the iPhone, Xbox 360, PS3 or the PC we hope that we give you a good idea of whether the game is good or isn’t.
When rating games, we take into account a variety of factors including gameplay, price, originality and platform. That’s why you’ll see that many iPhone games rank as well as some of our favorite Xbox 360 games.
What matters is that we recommend games that are worth playing. Even more than that, games that are worth spending your cash on or renting for that matter.
YOU know what makes a good game. It’s not graphics or exclusivity licenses.
It’s playability and nothing more.
