The Wii Mario Kart Bundle
The box really calls you to dig in for Mario Kart.
The one thing that caught our attention about this bundle was the matching black shiny hardware that comes inside of it. You get a Nintendo Wii, Nunchuk, Mario Kart, and a Wii Wheel. Priced for about $149.99, I would have to say it is a pretty neat deal.
Black and shiney. Ooo...ahhh.
There is one major issue with this bundle that seems to be the problem with most put out by Nintendo. High-definition component cables are still no where to be found. We are now so many years in with the Nintendo Wii and the HD cables that can add to a clean and crisp gaming experience is missing! Many might argue that the gaming experience make up for the missing quality especially with an added title like Mario Kart. I mostly agree with that but for crying out loud we are moving forward with next gen gaming and without having the option to see the graphics in higher quality really is a let down. There still may be time in the future when Nintendo gives us this option right out of the box. Until than you unfortunately have to make that extra run to the nearest Best Buy or Gamestop for the clean picture.

Now with the biggest issue out and about there really is no surprise that Mario Kart bundled with a black Nintendo Wii not only looks good but is tons of fun right out of the box. The fairly easy set up that is expected with Wii products has you shooting shells and laying banana peels in no time. Your friends might get a little jealous when they lay their eyes on the Wii’s dark side.
Overall this is a great bundle we just suggest you also pick up HD component cables if you are into the whole gaming experience as much as we are. Besides isn’t the point of a bundle to prevent you from buying key accessories separately? If you do let us know!
