EA Buys Popcap

When most gamers think of Popcap they think of Bejeweled and Plants vs Zombies. Electronic Arts has reached in agreement of $750 for the developer Popcap.
According to Game Informer, in a press release CEO David Roberts said:
“We picked EA because they have recast their culture around making great digital games and services to deliver more social, mobile, casual fun to an even bigger, global audience.”
Popcap has made many great titles for console, pc, and the mobile scene. I’m hoping that this does not effect the type of polished games we have come to know and love from Popcap. If you still are not use to the fact of EA buying out awesome developers than you are on the same boat as us. It seems we will have to get use to changes like this.
