Hitting up our local Gamestop | Visit #1
Our first, hopefully of a long series that will keep you up to date with what’s up at your local Gamestop. If you’re like us, you like to pay a couple of visits (even if your low on cash) to your local Gamestop to see what’s releasing soon and checking out the bargain bin.
A quick look inside and we saw a few things to get excited about. One, the front window was stacked with promo boxes for the new NBA 2K. Thee basketball game for any video game platform. Well beyond whatever NBA Live has to offer, despite what EA’s marketing campaign will tell you.
Gamestop was also pushing a power trade for Left for Dead 2. I always feel like I’m getting ripped off with these trade-in deals but for what its worth, this deal will get you an extra 25% extra trade-in credit towards the purchase of the game.
We also saw the pre-order boxes for the New Super Mario Bros. for the Wii. We can’t wait for this one.
Saving the best for last, or at least the most interesting is the release of Tony’s Hawks Ride, complete with a skateboard for the Xbox 360. We’re not sure exactly how this is going to work, or that it’s not more than a gimmick. At the very least, it’ll save your knees and skull from getting scrapes and bruises. Which, is always a good thing.
