Originality, playability with a mixture of carpal tunnel describes the recent release of Knights Onrush for your iPhone or iTouch. Defending your castle against the hordes of knights and everything but the kitchen sink becomes quite challenging. It’s up to you and your hand to knock these little suckers off the screen as they try and crash through the gates of your castle.
With a flick of your finger, you can send knights flying across the screen to falling to their deaths or just hurling to outer space. Either way, you get lots of gold…and isn’t that what it’s all about? You’ll be able to buy Hell’s Gates, Dragon Altars, Tower Upgrades, Canons and Roof Weapons for your castle.
Knights Onrush for your iPhone or iTouch
In order to purchase some of the better weapons, you’ll have to sacrifice a ton of knights on the Altars or Hell’s Gates that can be purchased. Sacrifice enough, and you’ll be able to purchase some weapons at the Castle Shop like Ballista’s, Guns and Firepower that eludes you in the earlier stages.
The game is fun but found that my fingers got tired pretty quickly. I found this game good, but in small doses. Meaning, my hands could only play a few levels before it got a little irritating. Othewise, the game is fun and I loved hurling a lot of the knights all over the place.
Watch out for the dudes with the barrels! BOOM!

I do like the fact that you can purchase upgrades to the castle, where eventually you’ll be able to create combos to kill those crashing your castle. Such as freezing and destroying them. The graphics are solid and fit the game.
A little fire never hurt nobody! Oh wait, yeah it has.
Right now, the game is sitting at under a dollar as it’s popularity has hit its peak. I recommend it for that price and it’s a good game that will kill some time. Otherwise, you’ll have to be a real fan of the game to continue through the myriad of levels.
