EA releases Scrabble for your iPhone. Yep, EA doesn’t publish quality games that often though many gaming sites beg to differ. But credit must be given where it’s due.
We’ll start with what this game doesn’t have. Graphics, violence and zombies. None of these will be found in the latest rendition of Scrabble by EA. Simply put, it’s a great game that fits within the palm of your hand in beautiful colors might I add.
If you’re a fan of the board version then you’ll have a blast with the iPhone/iTouch version. The gameplay is slick and smooth and a must buy for current fans and those of brain teasers. EA incorporates the touch screen perfectly. You’d think it’d be difficult to land the pieces on the board but it works, unless you have beast hands.
The only thing that sucks about this game is when you’re connected over WiFi there is only one game option. What’s that about. There’s no ending, you just simply run out of tiles.
Best of all, you can play with a friend locally or connect via Facebook. It’s a must buy, currently sitting at 5 bucks. Don’t be cheap and spend the cash. It’ll keep your mind sharp and your vocabulary ever growing. Good stuff.
