Finally, PS3 Drops in Price – $299

Not only does the PS3 see a substantial price drop ($100) but also gets a facelift courtesy of the folks at Sony. This will likely trigger those that have been waiting on the sidelines for a big price cut. Well, here it is along with a facelift. Those that have been waiting to get there hands on a new PS3 (many of us included) will hit the stores September the 1st to grab a Ps3 along with some Blu Ray goodness.
The supposebly sleeker version still looks like it weighs a ton. We’re still waiting to see if there are any extra’s or trimmings that Sony is hiding. We’ll keep you posted.
